As you already know, with Yalicoo you can watch every single trade a player makes almost instantly; thus, it is possible to understand what are the strategies of other players. I am doing that every day – every week. And, this week I want to reveal the strategy of a winner (and it is so simple that you can easily try it for yourself).
Before we proceed, let me say that I am happy to announce a new expert we have in Yalicoo.

TheTrader, and according to her results in last week’s competitions
she definitely disserves this name. Well, this player won 3 of 5 daily competitions, and ranked first in the
weekly stock trading competition.

As usual, we also had our well-known winner genibus, who won ‘only’ 2 daily competitions this time. But we all already used to that.
How do they win?
One of the strategies that the winners have used in the past (and still using it nowadays) competitions is simply buying stock of companies which announce quarterly financial results at the day of the daily competition. Obviously, it is not certain that these results will be positive and even then, it is not certain that the stock prices of these companies will go up.
Whether the price is going up or down, history teaches us that it tends to be very volatile during the day of announcing the financial results. These traders bet on about five to ten of these stocks and hope for the prices of few of them to surge sharply during the day.
Later in the day, after the price went up, the traders sell these stocks with a large profit. This way they boost the return of their portfolio.
