Yalicoo's grand opening
By Yinon Arieli | July 23, 2007
This was our first week here at Yalicoo, and I’m glad to congratulate all our
new members with a ‘Go Yalicoo’ greeting (this is how we congratulate here in
Yalicoo, you’ll get used to our terminology in no time).
Let me introduce myself before we dive into all the juicy stuff of last week.
Well, I’m Yinon Arieli, a senior manager in Yalicoo and the head of the content,
and I’ll be summarizing the best actions of each week and post it directly into
your email address (it will wait for you in your email every Monday morning,
just after you’ll finish drinking your first Starbucks of the week). You can
also view all my former posts in the content section.
The Daily competition summary
The first Yalicoo week was definitely a bullish one. While the NASDAQ was mainly
colored in red, Bullish, one of the first members to join our community, had a
SUPER-GREAT week, with 4 winnings out of 5 daily competitions. Actually he got
second place on the Friday competition, where ot665 was the top trader, beating
just by a tiny 0.1%.
As you know, in Yalicoo you can track the activity of each player in the
competition you’re in. So, I checked Bullish’s tradings, and I think I
(partially) figured out his strategy. Everyday, he starts to build his portfolio
with few stocks. Later on, he strengthens it with few of the top performing
stocks of the day. Well, after you join a competition in Yalicoo you can view
the top performing stocks in real time. Why don’t use it then? And that might be
what Bullish have done that gain him the victory.
On the other hand, the number of players in
last week daily stock market competitions were
relatively small; thus, I might be wrong and these 4 winnings were just a pure
luck.
Whatever it will be, you can also take advantage of this strategy or any other
strategies that you know. Just step into the daily
stock trade competition and show us that
you’re the best. Give me a reason to cite your name on the next newsletter, so
everyone will know you’re the leading trader. And, don’t forget that every new
player get a free game. Yes, you can play your first game for free. No
obligations at all (but, don’t blame us later for getting addicted to Yalicoo
…).
The weekly and Monthly games
Let’s move on. Yalicoo also have a weekly competition. Well, this week it was a
tough fight between Lahav2000 to Mormorit. Finaly,
Lahav2000 got the lead when
his portfolio had a yield of 1.46%. kfirox won the third place.
The monthly competition, with total cash prizes of $1000, is reaching its final
week this week. It’s going to be a very close fight between the current leaders
QueenPortfolio with total yield of 2.78% to cartman with 2.68%. These returns
are not so high, so why don’t you try to beat these guys? Come on, you can
easily do it! Just join the
monthly stock trading game and show us that you can beat everyone
in the last minute.
The Quarterly Mega competition
And, don’t forget our Quarterly Mega competition where you can win a very
impressive $10,000 in cash! Right now, cartman takes the lead with a return of
about 6%. However, the game has just begun and we still have 68 days to roll the
stocks. Therefore, each one of you traders can take the lead in no time.
Remember that the stock market is very jumpy; Stocks can go up by tens of
percentages in a single day. So, don’t say to your-self “I’ll join the next
one”. Be a Yalicoo investor, take the reins to your hands and Join the Quarterly
competition. This is the most prestigious competition in Yalicoo, and besides
the $10,000 that you can win (which is obviously very nice to have), you’ll also
get 3 month of free real time quotes, you’ll get experienced in trading methods,
the opportunity to watch the strategies of the most experienced investors in
Yalicoo, and have a lot of fun.
So, with this optimistic attitude I’ll end this weekly newsletter. But, I’m not
going to leave you at all. You can meet me inside
Yalicoo’s competitions zone.
Just join me and the other investors in the games.
Go Yalicoo!
